Make the most out of your ride by hiring one of our knowledgeable, local guides to tow you through the beauty and fun that Bellingham has to offer.

Mountain biker riders down steep trail.

Galbraith mountain (AKA: Galby) is a world class mountain destination located within riding distance of downtown Bellingham. With over 65 miles of singletrack that winds through 3,000 acres overlooking the city and Bellingham Bay it’s sometimes called a “spaghetti bowl of trails”. The mountain is accessible to all non-motorized use; all of the trails are built and maintained by the WMBC and other trail sponsors. Because of the quantity of trails, the mountain can handle 100’s of hikers, runnners, horse riders, and bikers during the course of the day without trail users feeling like the trails are busy.

The trails on Galby are well marked but there are so many intersections and options it can be difficult to navigate as a local, let alone an out-of-town visitor. Let our guides help curate a ride that is perfectly suited to your riding style and goals, plus hit all those trails you saw your favorite YouTuber obsess over.

Bellingham and the surrounding area contains a dazzling array of single track mountain bike trails covering numerous mountains and foothills.  There is something here for everybody and we love to show off the goods. Don't waste your precious riding time stopping to check maps at every intersection or risk descending the wrong side of a mountain and having a monstrous pedal back to town or your car. Let us show you the way and help you make lasting memories (the good kind) of your visit to "The 'Ham".

The local saying here is, “Welcome to Bellingham, now get on your bike.”

No bike? Visit the Transition Bikes Outpost on Samish Way and demo a quality bike for a full or half day. Giddy up!

Wondering what time of year is best to visit Bellingham to ride?

We think just about anytime! Our riding is pretty radical year-round but the conditions from April through October is the most reliably amazing (no promises though, it is the PNWet after all).

Please inquire about pricing for groups larger than 4 riders.

The Chuckanut Mountains are some of the most scenic trails in our area. Rising straight out of the ocean, the mountains boast a massive amount of old growth forests with some of the best views around. The trails wind in and out of Larrabee state park and are primarily hiking trails that allow mountain biking on designated trails. The trails offer a massive amount of vertical for those not afraid to climb along with great views and extremely high quality flowy singletrack.

The best way to experience the Chuckanuts is to go with someone that knows the area (like our fantastic guides and coaches). There is a tremendous possibility to get lost and end up a long way from where you parked if you don’t know where the trails are leading you. We’ve also seen/heard of plenty of riders descending trails that are better for climbing and vice-versa. So take the guess work out of this epic riding area and hire one of our guides to show you the best trails (and the best directions to ride them in).
