Foundations of Jumping and Dropping

Are you getting more comfortable riding with higher speeds and hoping to start to get your wheels off the ground (and back down again) safely?

  • Jumping and dropping are skills that require the wheels to leave the ground (or lip, take-off, drop, ledge, kicker, etc) which shouldn’t be taken lightly. As riders get faster, the need and desire to leave the ground often grows. Honing your approach with intention, precision and predictability can be just the secret sauce your riding needs to fuel progress on jumps and drops.

  • In this class we will work to build a solid foundation of balance, timing, and execution on a variety of foundational skills to get you feeling comfortable and confident with leaving the ground.

Students can expect to work in an open grassy area with our progression props for the ultimate fun and safe progression experience and leave with a set of skills and drills that with continued practice equate to elevated levels of confidence.

  • Open to all skill levels but if you are brand new to riding or still consider yourself a novice or true beginner, there are probably more important skills to tackle first that will be helpful for your riding, check out our other Foundation Classes on this page.
